Growing up, like most kids, I loved running downstairs on Saturday morning and parking in front of the TV for hours of cartoons and kid shows. As time went on, I remember not being as interested in cartoons as I was in home renovation shows. I was excited to get up early on Saturday mornings to watch Bob Vila, this Old House, Hometime and many other building or renovating shows that were on at that time. Looking back, the tips, tricks and benefits from those well spent Saturday mornings has proven to be immeasurable in my career.
My Real Estate Experience:
I started my real estate career in 1997 and shortly after I joined a Real Estate Team. The team experience proved to be the best way to hone my skills and become the real estate professional I am today. My experience has enabled me to help people who are either buying or selling make the right and best decisions for them. It is comforting to know that most of my clients are still calling the properties that I helped them find their “home”. Further, it is also gratifying to know that when the times comes for them to move from the home I helped them find, that I am still their Realtor® of choice.
After positioning myself as an integral part of the team, I had the fortune to pay it forward and pass along my knowledge through training and managing new team members, including new Realtors® and administration support staff.
Growing up in Mississauga:
My parents did what most parents would do to keep their children out of trouble. They kept me busy by involving me in baseball, soccer, bowling and sailing. I also went through the whole Scouting system and I had the opportunity to be a Scout Leader for many years.
A little more about what I currently do:
I grew up and continue to live in the Sheridan Homelands area of Mississauga. When the weather is right and I am able, I love to take my boat out sailing on Lake Ontario. I am a member of Port Credit Yacht Club (PCYC) located in Mississauga. I am fortunate to continue the family legacy of being a member at PCYC, which dates back to 1939. Most of my interests involve my wonderful eight year old son, Lukas. Lukas has enriched my life in countless ways and I learn from him each and every day. Being a parent has also helped me become a better real estate professional for my clients. Whether they are a young family, newlyweds or empty nesters, I sit down with my clients during the home buying process in order to help plan the right move for their specific needs.
There is so much more to talk about, but right now, this is about you and your unique wants and needs.
I am excited to share with you a radio broadcast I did at Jazz FM. I hope you enjoy it. It was a treat to do and I hope to host another show again.
